ELECTRONIC MEDICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INSTALLS CLINICAL INFORMATION
SYSTEMS IN OHIO PRACTICES
Indianapolis, Ind. (May 1, 2001) - Gateway Electronic
Medical Management Systems (GEMMS), developer of the nation's
first clinical information system designed specifically for
cardiology practices, today announced it signed installation
agreements with The Heart Group, Ravenna, Ohio, and Dayton
Heart for its electronic clinical information system (ECIS).
These are the 25th & 26th practices to join the GEMMS
network since its national sales efforts began in 1999.
The
GEMMS ECIS system is a cardiology-specific system that integrates
a practices clinical, fiscal and management information
into one system. The Heart Group of Ravenna has 25 physicians
in seven locations and sees more than 65,000 patients annually.
Dayton Heart has 15 physicians at its six locations and treats
45,000 patients annually.
