Product
ECIS, or electronic clinical information system, is a mobile computer
solution that fully integrates a practices clinical, fiscal
and management information into ONE comprehensive system. This negates
the need for multiple computer systems to accomplish the functions
and information tasks of various practice departments. It is designed
for large practices that have multiple users and office/clinic/outreach
locations.
Product
Benefits
Created by clinicians for clinicians, ECIS was developed through
real-world understanding and experience. As clinicians, the developers
of ECIS know and understand the information challenges facing medical
practices in todays environment.
Because
ECIS integrates the information management requirements of an entire
medical practice, physicians, clinicians and administrative employees
can work more efficiently in sharing information, maintaining patient
records and documenting patient encounters. ECIS provides information
that allows a practice to manage and report the cost of doing business,
all at the point of service.
Clients
GEMMS has installed the ECIS product in practices throughout the
nation and is now expanding into Europe. With over 200 physicians
using the system, more than 1 million patients are currently being
charted and monitored through ECIS.
GEMMS
